Something to think about: God's first creation was his son... not a wife. He could have created anything or anyone he wanted yet his first creation was so much like himself that Jesus said 'I and the father are one'. Even God desires to be with someone like himself... not his opposite. We were made in God's image. Why would God condemn someone with the same desires as He has? God loves you just the way you are.

Is mental illness actualy messages from god?
by highdose ini don't mean depression or somthing of that nature.
i used to work with patients who suffered from severe schiofrenia etc, they would claim that they were god, son of god, gods mesanger etc.. of course they were highly medicated and put in a place where they would be taken care of.
it was a rough section of the hospital to be put, in fact the chances of making it through a shift with uniform undamaged were silm and there was porters ( guards) behind each locked door.

It's possible that prophets are considered mentally ill... look at the scripture below:
Hosea 9:7 Because of your great sin and hostility,
you say, “The prophets are crazy
and the inspired men are fools!”

For starters, read this story. It deeply moved me:
Growing up a gay Jehovah's Witness (My Life Story)

Neither.
Isn't having faith in something a kind of work? You're doing something... believing. What if you don't believe? What if you can't believe?
I believe God's going to save us because he loves us and he's good. Not because we're doing something or believing something.

Lets Debate the Trinity
by UnDisfellowshipped income on everyone, let us reason on the trinity doctrine using the bible!.
you know there has to be at least 3 big long trinity threads on here per month... so i figured i'd go ahead and start one for november.. the bible says that there is only one true god who is god by nature, the only god who deserves our worship and prayer.
jesus taught that his father is god.

It is a salvation issue because the condition is that we must trust in the True Jesus
I believe the ransom is for everyone not just for those that believe in Jesus. I believe if one man's sin got all of into this mess then Jesus' sacrifice will undo all the results of that sin. (Adam's) I don't believe you have to believe anything more than a baby has to believe to receive his mother's milk.

Understanding all about The Trinity Doctrine is not a salvation issue, but believing in the Deity of Christ (believing that Jesus is God) and honoring Him as God, is a salvation issue, as many Scriptures declare, such as John 8:24, John 5:23-24, Romans 10:9-13.
I don't believe that regardless of what the bible reads. If God is so petty as to destroy someone for not understanding some cryptic, obscure doctrine so as not to understand his true nature, he deserves no worship.

Disfellowshipped and Armageddon
by IMHO inwill a disfellowshipped person survive armageddon?.
will a disassociated person......?.
will an inactive person.....?.

Another question could be:
"If someone has never heard of "the truth" during the "last days" but dies before armageddon, will he be resurrected?"
If so, where is the justice in that? Another man could live the same period of time as a faithful "witness". Bringing many people into the "truth" etc. But just before his death, gets disfellowshipped and is never resurrected.
If this is true, all the questions become ridiculous... and the Witnesses could save a lot more people by NOT preaching.

Is understanding of the Trinity doctrine essential for salvation? Jesus told the thief, impaled along side him, that he would be with him in paradise. Do you really think the thief understood whether or not Jesus was part of a Trinity?

I do. Even after 15 years. I miss my family too.
